The most expensive players by position in the summer 2023 transfer window have been revealed.

With the summer transfer window now closed for major international leagues, soccer statistics site Squawker has compiled a list of the most expensive players by position.

First up is Andre Onana (Man United) in goal. Onana arrived in a United shirt for a transfer fee of £44 million (approximately $73 billion). The Red Devils were looking for a successor to the departed David de Gea, and Onana, a protégé of Eric ten Hagh, was their choice. Onana immediately hit the ground running with his trademark buildup play.

In defense, we had Josko Gvardiol (Man City), Axel Dijsassi (Chelsea), Kim Min-jae (Munich), and Pedro Foro (Tottenham). Their transfer fees are £77 million, £38 million, £63 million, £43 million, and £34 million, starting with Gvardiol.

After leading Napoli to the league title last season, Kim attracted interest from several clubs after the transfer window opened. Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and others wanted him, but it was Munich who won out. The Bavarians, who are challenging for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophy, paid Kim’s buyout. Kim has started all two league games and has earned the trust of head coach Thomas Tuchel.

The midfield consists of Declan Rice (Arsenal), Moises Caicedo (Chelsea), and Jude Bellingham (Real). All three midfielders commanded staggering transfer fees of over 100 million. 먹튀검증
