Chelsea have sacked manager Graham Porter after seven months in charge.

Chelsea said on the club website on the 3rd (Korean time), “Manager Porter has left the team. I would like to thank Director Porter for all his hard work.”

Chelsea sacked manager Thomas Tuchel in early September last year. Immediately, Porter, who was holding the baton of Brighton & Hove Albion, took charge of the new team.

However, after Manager Porter took over the baton, Chelsea are sluggish in the regular league with 7 wins, 5 draws and 8 losses. Chelsea, who were in 6th place when Porter took over as manager, are now in 11th place. There are 10 games left until the end of the season. With the gap widening to 12 points with 4th place Manchester United (50 points), the final line for next season’s UEFA Champions League appearances, Chelsea finally decided to sack the coaching staff.

Coach Bruno Saltor will take over as acting head coach and lead the team. 스포츠토토

The British BBC reported that former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane are potential new managers for Chelsea.
